Discover how our team expertly handled an urgent request for ten ultra-thin aluminum parts, using CNC turning to meet tight specifications and deadlines. This case study highlights our precision and efficiency in CNC machining.

A client urgently required ten aluminum parts, which needed to be completed within a single day.

The manufacturing challenge was significant due to the parts’ thin walls: they had an external diameter of 6.3mm and an internal diameter of 6.0mm, resulting in a wall thickness of just 0.3mm over a length of 118mm. These were machined using a CNC turning machine.

While the actual machining took only 20 minutes per part, the setup and programming required 2 hours.

Now that we have experience with these types of parts, we can handle similar future projects more efficiently.
